A few highlights from our Christmas.
Roxy is our Elf on the Shelf (a tradition I’m not 100% at ease with). A powdered sugar angel was just one of the hijinks he pulled this year.
A few our cookies before being iced.
We have an annual cookie decorating, and these are just a few from this year.
My sister-in-law made a cookie in my image.
Lennie’s class stuck ornaments to this huge paper tree, and we won the raffle to bring it home.
The kids went out on Christmas Eve to sprinkle reindeer food (oatmeal and glitter) on the ground.
Santa and his reindeer needed some goodies for the road.
I cooked a bunch of bacon for the breakfast casserole I cook each year.
Finn finds a travel Battleship game in his stocking.
This one’s kind of self-explanatory.
Captain America prepares to vanquish evil.
We gave Finn this car track, which mounts on the wall and is awesome.

Santa brought Lennie a kitty, whom we’ve named “Aster.”
Aster is so far a good mix of spunky and cuddly.
Christmas night, we made a bunch of noodles and meatballs — not traditional Christmas far, but yum.
